How Taranis Could Benefit Your Operation

This past year, MKC had the opportunity to partner with Taranis on a 4,000 acre trial to test their revolutionary field scouting service. What we found was that Taranis’ drone imagery paired with their Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven insights provided pinpoint accuracy on the plant population, weeds, insects, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies in every field. Their one image captured provided timely, plant level data that for the very first time, confidently allowed us to know what is in your field without being in your field, all from their easy to use app or intuitive web dashboard. 

MKC Strategic Account Manager and local farmer, Jared Jones, said “with weeds getting harder and harder to control, getting them sprayed while they are two-four inches tall has become crucial in getting quality control, which means we need to be scheduling fields for application as soon as they emerge. Taranis allows us to know exactly when and what weeds emerge so we use the right herbicides at the right time for maximum profitability and control.”
