Joe Johnson serves as the energy consultant for the Manhattan area. Born and raised in Roxbury, he grew up in the agriculture industry. He is fortunate enough to be raising his family in the same farm house his father was brought up in. Prior to joining MKC, Joe worked in construction and the commercial trucking industry with experience in maintenance, parts, and sales. When asked what he enjoys the most about working at MKC Joe said, “the energy industry is a constantly changing environment that always presents a challenge. Every customer is a new opportunity to learn. I love our ability to think outside of the box and present solutions other cooperatives likely wouldn’t consider or be capable of. We may not always have the best answer right out of the gate, but we will always find it.”
Ed Kressin joined MKC in 2018 as the energy consultant for the Kansas City area. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ed now lives in Roeland Park. He is an experienced salesman, having worked in the medical sales industry before joining MKC. Ed and his wife have two daughters and three grandchildren.
