WE CURRENTLY OFFER THREE APPRENTICESHIP ROLES:
AGRICULTURE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
This person is responsible for delivering and applying agronomy products with trucks, sprayers, or spreading equipment to farm fields. They operate equipment with the latest agriculture technology, and they learn to maintain the equipment they operate.
CDL DRIVER
This person drives a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) and supports agricultural activities. This includes delivering liquids and dry mixes, seed, ammonia (fertilizer) and grain. They also load agricultural products into the truck, customer vehicles, and shuttles. Finally, they perform required maintenance on trucks and other equipment.
OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
This person assists agronomy, grain and feed departments at a designated location. Duties include pick-up and delivery of fertilizer equipment, loading fertilizer with proper training, and pick-up and delivery of tanks and feed. Other duties include grain handling; cleaning and maintenance in the elevator, buildings, and grounds; and dumping/loading grain trucks.
