PLAINS, Kan. and MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. – Plains Equity Exchange and Cooperative Union membership votes to approve unification with MKC. After a series of informational meetings, the owners of Plains Equity approved the merger with MKC by a super majority of 95% at a special vote meeting on April 4, 2019.

PLAINS, Kan. and MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. - The Board of Directors of both Plains Equity Exchange and Cooperative Union and MKC have unanimously approved and entered into a Letter of Intent to finalize an Agreement and Plan of Merger, which, if supported by the members of Plains Equity, would result in the merger of Plains Equity with MKC.
The MKC Scholarship Program is to assist the further education of students of MKC member-owners and MKC and TMA employees interested in pursuing higher education and is now open for applicaitons.
4-H develops skills in youth through project areas ranging from livestock, robotics and many in between. In Kansas, over 74,000 youth are enrolled in the 4-H program. To celebrate the accomplishments of the 4-H program, MKC asked employees about their past and ongoing involvement.
Students in Kindergarten through fourth grade are invited to participate in the contest. Entries will be split into five divisions: Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each contestant group.
The internship program is undoubtedly a highlight of the summer at MKC. Each year, MKC selects college students to experience industry tours, complete a summer project and work alongside a mentor during their summer months away from school.
HILLSBORO, Kan. AND SENECA, Kan. — Countryside Feed LLC and Midwest Ag Service, LLC will merge operations and begin serving customers as one company effective November 1, 2018. The newly combined company will operate as Countryside Feed LLC from its headquarters in Seneca, Kansas.
