MKC to Host Horse Owners Workshop on June 16

Attention, horse owners! Don't miss the MKC and Purina Animal Nutrition Horse Owners Workshop on Saturday, June 16.

Join us from 1-4 p.m. on June 16 at TimberCreek Vet Hospital located at 9000 Elk Creek Road in Manhattan. Light refreshments will be provided.

The workshop will feature three speakers:

  • Rhonda Martin of Equine Performance Therapy will discuss the dynamics of targeted nutrition, three basic points of saddle fit and proper conditioning to create a balanced equation for a healthy back.
  • Purina Animal Nutritionist Gary Niehues will present on targeted nutrition solutions, how to select a specific feed to meet the needs of your horse and reach optimum performance ability.
  • Dr. Alecia McAtee of TimberCreek Vet Hospital will demonstrate how to use chiropractic care to maximize your horse's performance and comfort.
