Employees Host Food Drive To Benefit Local Communities

April 1, 2019
Throughout April, MKC employees are joining together to help fill the shelves of area food banks through their seventh annual food drive. This year, MKC is challenging locations to collect ten pounds of items per employee.

This is a great time to clean out your cabinets and bring in those non-expired items that have been collecting dust and/or pick up an extra item or three at the grocery store. Any amount of donation will go a long way and be greatly appreciated.
As a reminder, the Community Involvement Committee has challenged each employee to donate 10 lbs. of non-perishable food. Last year, MKC and TMA employees collected 3,228 pounds of food.
The MKC Community Involvement Committee invites everyone to join them in their 2019 Food Drive by dropping off items at any full-time MKC location by April 30.
