Furthering Your Education

Every year, MKC offers scholarships to deserving high school seniors and college students from across Kansas. A total of ten scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors and ten scholarships will be awarded to returning college students for their second, third or fourth year.

To be eligible for a MKC scholarship, students must be planning to attend or return to an accredited university or college including a community, vocational or technical school. Scholarship applications will be accepted until March 15, 2018, and must be accompanied by a resume and essay on how has the cooperative system has impacted the community that you live in.

1. Be a high school senior graduating in spring 2018 or a current college student in the first, second or third year of school.
2. Enrolled at a post-secondary institution for fall 2018.
3. Demonstrate leadership abilities, academic performance and a desire to fruther their education and career.

1. Submit one photo suitable for newspaper to be used upon selection as an awardee.
2. Complete online application full and upload resume and essay.
3. Submit application on or before March 15, 2018.

All applicants will receive a letter once the scholarship committee has deteremined awardees. The scholarship will be awarded at high school student's school function. The scholarship will be mailed to the school that is being attended on behalf of the awardee in the fall 2018.
